Malezya İslam Üniversitesi Kurucuları altında İslam Kalkınma Bankasında en çok katkı payı sağlayan (hissederlardan) Türkiye de bulunmaktadır.

Malezya İslam Üniversitesi Mütevelli Heyetine buradan bir bakmakta fayda var. Görüldüğü gibi kendisinin kurduğu eğitim kurumunu tanımayan bir ülke olarak rekorlar kitabına girsek yeridir.

Malezya İslam Üniversitesi Malezya En İyi Üniversiteleri Sıralamasında Birinci

Kurucuları arasında Türkiye'nin de bulunmasına rağmen halen YÖK tarafından denkliği kabul edilmemiş olan Malezya İslam Üniversitesi, Malezya Milli Eğitim Bakanlığınca yapılan Üniversiteler arası sıralamada Genel Eğitim (Broad-based) kategorisinde birinci oldu.

6 puan üzerinden yapılan değerlendirmeye göre kategorilere göre Malezya'nın en iyi üniversiteleri aşağıda yer almaktadır. Dünyadaki en iyi 500 üniversite sıralamasında ise Malezya'dan 5 üniversite sıralamaya girdi (bknz İlk 500 Üniversite: En İyi Malezya Üniversiteleri)
